(August 1, 2000) Seattle, Washington-Fikse USA, Inc. has announced that it will reduce the number of dealers handling its product and realign existing dealer relationships over the remaining months of the year in order to provide the 'highest possible' levels of service.
"With a product as custom-fit, and as personally tailored to individual driving needs and car types as ours, it is vital that we have the most technically capable dealer network possible," says company founder Jim Fikse. "Going forward, we will be providing more factory support to dealerships which have demonstrated their ability to fully and properly serve our customers and uphold the quality of our products."

As part of the realignment, most existing dealers will get additional support from the company. In a few cases, existing dealer relationships have ended, according to the company.
"More than anything, we aim to provide the best possible driving experience for our customers, and this means having the most technically-savvy, sophisticated dealer network possible. We ask a lot from our dealers and require them to be truly expert at fitting wheels and tires on high-performance vehicles. Our customers deserve nothing less," said Fikse.
